Recipe Feature: Caramel Cocoa Bites

Ingredients:

*1/2 cup pitted deglet noor dates*

*1/2 cup rolled oats
 +
*1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

*1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds

Method:

#. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, except for the unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds. Mix well until it forms a dough-like texture when pinched together. If the mixture is too dry, add more dates. If the mixture is too gooey, add more oats.

#. Roll the dough into balls and the roll them into unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds.

#. Freeze on a lined cookie sheet for 20 minutes before serving.
