Caramel Cocoa Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup pitted deglet noor dates*
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds

Method:

  1. . Combine all ingredients in a food processor, except for the unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds. Mix well until it forms a dough-like texture when pinched together. If the mixture is too dry, add more dates. If the mixture is too gooey, add more oats.
  2. . Roll the dough into balls and the roll them into unsweetened shredded coconut or hemp seeds.
  3. . Freeze on a lined cookie sheet for 20 minutes before serving.
* deglet noor dates taste similar to caramel, but you can sub in medjool dates for a slightly different flavor.
